Hello Ferrovie fans,

in the introduction area of this forum I already mentioned how I love italian railways and that I build a italian modell railway. Now I would like to show some pictures, even if it is still under construction. Now the "shaddow station" is finalised and some tracks of the first station "Imperia" are layed down.
I guess pictures show much more than words ...













As mentionad - it´s under construction. And I am only very slow, as I also have to care of my both kids, my wife and and and ...

Single components for the next part of the trail are wailting to be assembled ...


All relevant infos for assembling are printed on the pattern.


And here you can see the upper and lower area and the second helical tunnel.


And now I have a question to you about combination of coaches (I did not find a picture in www to answer this question):
Did the Grans Comfort coaches (especcally the baggage car and the restaurante) run only in homogeneous Grand Comfort Trains or were they also mixed with "normal" coaches?

Absolutely mixed!! Depending on the era you can use them with UICX and UICZ.
For example Rapido 926 Cycnus in 1982 was:

4 Bz UIC-X gray, Dz GC, 4 Az GC and WRz GC.

Hi Viktor, it' s an amazing beginning job!
I'll follow you with interestw. It's a very clear, clean and perfect way to realize the modell railways. The tracks have the right parabolic radius of curvature with realistic pendence of external rail.
Which tracks brand do you use?

About your question, normally every mix of coaches was possible before this century, but not for the Gran Confort in TEE livery because they worked properly only with their Power supply generator baggage coach

I use tracks from Tillig. And I did the planning with the S21 software. With this software you can plan to deform the switches...

Hi all,

trains can now run over the upper layer. Yeah! :-)

Of coures the trains are not finished and weathered and it is a "wooden desert". But yesterday the first trains were running and I want to share ...
